Sohaib, you can do transpositions with these on virtually any cap you wish to use, because you are changing a cap from one brand to another.

Hello gentlemen, I hope everyone is well. Someone stated on this post that I passed away and ever since I've been receiving emails inquiring as to the validity of that statement. Well, I can assure you all that I am alive and well, and I am still working on developing new effects! Thank you all for your tremendous support with Captivated. It pleases me immensely to know that so many fellow magicians are wowing their audiences and enjoying my product. My goal has always been to design magic that utilizes small objects to create powerful illusions! I know as a performer that if a prop is small and easy to transport, and it can be used to create strong magic, it will be used often in the field.
Again, thank you gentlemen for your awesome support. Because of you I am able to do what I love most, and that is develop magic! If you get a chance please check out my newest effect called, SIDEWINDER. This little device allows you to levitate and animate objects at a moments notice. It doesn't use invisible thread and will last a lifetime. It's what I use to hand out my business cards and make a lasting impression. |

I recently got this from Mark Mason and I like it a lot.
My set is the "Euro" version and has five pairs of gimmicks. They are: 2 x Bud 2 x Kingfisher 2 x London Pride 2 x Stella Artois 2 x Birra Peroni These beers/caps are all readily available here. I'm still rehearsing with this but I know it's something I'll use and not end up in the drawer. I'm pleased I bought it. It's easy to use, just needs a little handling practice. Regards Riley |

Any real reviews, now that everyone should have the caps they need. Somewhat. As long as you're not too hamfisted about simple palms this is a very simple and - with an aside - effective illusion. It gets people going and I used to use it to warm up audiences. "Used to" is the operative word here. From the get go there was the simple issue of color matching. The gaffs simply don't match even old caps and - at least mine - were cut a little crookedly so I had to work with markers and solvents to make them look better. That was the first issue, which I solved about six months ago. Enter the U.S. beer companies - caps rarely stay the same. The required Guinness and Sam Adams caps are no longer made the right way, the St. Pauli one still looks the same way but never matched in color to what was needed. This works (still) with drunks and in dimly lit places but street or well-lit areas I doubt anyone but the most oblivious can be fooled. |

What's the latest on this? There are no possibility of acquiring the extra caps needed today? Does anybody still perform it? Are there any effects that can be done with nothing more than the included gimmicks?

OK so I know this is an old post, but my gimmicks are looking a bit shoddy now after years of use. With out buying the whole effect again, has anyone created their own gimmicks. Was thinking of trying but I have an inkjet so if water gets on those babies the ink will just come right off.
So my question is has anyone created custom gaffs? Best Alan |

Can anyone tell me what the reset on this is? I have an idea I'd like to use this for other then it's main effect and would be great if the reset was somewhat quick and simple.
