The first time I performed my signed card to orange routine for an audience was at a comedy club in Seattle and I sliced clean through my thumb. Luckily the spectator happened to be a friend of mine (not pre-planned) so it wasn't TOO bad when I started to bleed profusely all over the orange. Good times. Glad your shows went well!
