There are now several conventions held throughout the UK during the year but what do you look for before deciding whether to attend one. Is it the number of dealers, the social side, the international guests, the competitions or is it something else? Im also wondering if the answers differ here in the UK to those abroad.

In the states I look at location convenience, lecturers and price.

I look for a lecturer who has something to teach me.

I can tell you right now, everyone is different.
Some people come for the lectures, some for the auctions, some for the show and some people come just to meet old friends.
It's very hard to please everybody.

Now for me??? I would have to say the talent is what draws me. I would travel 4 hours if the line up is good.
