Yes, Coyote wood is an exotic wood that comes from South America.

Thanks. I hadn't hard of Coyote wood before. I wonder what makes it exotic?? Is it rare?? Must be.
Back in the day, I used a lot of SA mahogany on my tables. What is your favorite wood to make your tables from??? I think Walnut is my personal favorite but the dust is so caustic it about killed me. Be sure to wear a mask when you're working with it. Walnut is the American equivalent of rosewood IMO. Good luck. -=tabman

There are many types of woods I really like but for the most part I enjoy BirdsEye Maple, Mahogany, and Koa....You are right wearing the proper equipment is important when woodworking....
