So long ago. I should google and see what he looks like now. I googled Susan Dey for some reason recently and she looked great. |

My friends all liked it too. It's personal taste I guess. I just think the whole thing was a cop out to avoid the pressures of treating the iconic series in its true timeline.
The movie wasn't un-entertaining, but it wasn't Trek. I think the premise was chickenhearted and that if they didn't want to make a Star Trek movie that follows the true Trek then they should have called it Red Dwarf or something, but not Star Trek.
