I am planning to purchase a sennheiser ew 112 or ew 122 wireless lavalier microphone, and was wondering what is the difference and which would be better (this is just for speaking during shows). Thanks -

I much preferr a headset mic. you can get more volume before feedback!

I guess I'm more old school. As someone who likes to talk to his volunteers on stage, I find it more convenient to use a wireless stick with a simple neck holder. I can slip the mike in and out of the holder quickly and without a hassle and then move it back and forth when I speak with the volunteer. When it is just for me, back into the holder and voila, works great.
Headsets would be great for vents or jugglers, but for magicians, I still prefer the stick. |
