Everyone knows Ed was famous for his second bananaring of television's greatest first banana, Johnny Crason, but does anyone know if McMahon was ever awarded an Emmy or other citation for his work?

I learned to speak perfect 'announcer' by listening to Ed on the Tonight Show. He was very precise. Great voice.

In all the articles about Ed, nobody mentioned that he stared out as the clown on Super Circus.
