Kihei Kid - the list of homophones you've pointed out doesn't include flower -flour.
Is "Cocca" a cake ingredient?
:)

You'll want to take a gander again, it's on there.

Just caught the "Cocca".

Let's hope not, the sugar alone should keep someone going.

I've used the letter "P" cut from green card stock and called it "Green Peas".

I've used the letter "U" cut from paper that looked like money called them "Cashews"

I've used Barry Mitchell's "Spring Water" (which I think he no longer makes but it is pure genius like everything from Barry Mitchell).

In the latest Wizards' Journal #18 (on my site) I have just released "Stock Pot Magic" which includes the Magic Chef act for baking a Birthday Cake. You can then go on to produce soup, or a live animal or two from the same Stock Pot.

Jim Gerrish has a Kid Magic routine called the "Ungimmicked Egg Bag" that is MUCH MORE than just egg bags, but a complete Cake Baking routine in which the Ungimmicked Egg Bag is featured leading up to the production of a real or giant inflatable cake. It is also on my site in his Kid Magic section.

Just found out that Barry Mitchell has started producing the spring water gag which he calls "Off-Spring". It is almost a whole routine by itself. Very funny and very inexpensive.

Green Peas = several "P" cut from green card stock.
Butter - 'butt' = so a pair of Y-fronts, or just wiggle your bum in it.
Egg = rubber chicken, so it can lay an egg in the pan.
Toothpaste = to clean your teeth as you eat it.

Milk carton with the Moo can (noise-maker) inside
Dish Cleaner = (so that the pan will clean itself after cooking)
'about 10 Bananas' (multiplying sponge bananas [Dan Garrett])
'clockwork Chatter Teeth' (so that the cake is pre-chewed)
Duck = duck your head while holding the pan.

Green food colouring = some grass
Yellow food colouring = some daffodils
Red food colouring = tomato ketchup sachet
Blue food colouring – some sky (try to reach it, pick it out of the air).

You might want to use a double dove pan. Show how the first time you tried baking it, something comical was made. After you reload the pan, show the cake was made the second time.

As I read my ingredients I come to the part that says, "Add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil". I then proceed to pour in some Sweet Oil. I tell them I wanted the cake to be sweet. Also, when I come to the ingredients that read, "1 fresh egg", I pick up the egg and look kind of bewildered for a moment. Then I just slam the entire egg, shell and all in the pan. This gets some proceless reactions and facial expressions from the volunteers I have on stage at the time.

I add frosting to the cake using Kelloggs Frosted Flakes.
