I came across an article today that discusses one line of reasoning to suggest the Iranian election was a fraud. By referencing probability theory, the authors make an interesting claim. The reason I'm posting this here, however, is that it seems like people tend to pick the number 7 even when concocting a political conspiracy (allegedly)!
The research notes that the number 7 (and also 17) feel more random. I wonder, then, could we increase our hit rate by asking for a "random" number from one to ten? Something to think about... "Nice analysis of why the Iranian electi......udulent" |
