Well, after three solid weeks of rain and two washouts, I finally had a decent show today!

This was a little street festival in a small nearby town -- but the weather was good and the people came out from miles around. I would guess there were about 75 vendors, with some good food concessions like Kettle Korn, funnel cakes and Italian ices. There was a nice little breeze, so I was able to get all the banners and pennants up, for maximum flash. I also got a nice compliment from my neighboring vendor, who wanted to know where I got the banners from (halfpricebanners.com).

I sold almost all Magic Worms but only six Svengali Decks, because the kids were young, too young for the deck, really. But they loved those worms, and I pulled pretty good tips all day long!

So after I packed up, I stopped and got myself a cold beer and a whole cheesesteak submarine (grinder or hoagie to some of you) with the works. It felt great to be eating the results of my hard work! No carny steak (hot dogs) tonite! SETH
