Anyone know of a quality PK ring?

I've purchased 3 (in silver) and the silver coating wears off in just a few months, if they last that long without breaking... two of mine have broken after a short fall (call me butterfingers), the ones I've had seem to be extremely fragile, this may be due to the design and may be unavoidable, but if anyone has a quality product to recommend please do so!

thanks!

For all your need in magnetic rings, go to Super Magnet Man. His are CHEAP, and I suspect he is the supplier for everyone who is selling them for much more.

I had the same problem with the finish on gold and silver. However the finish on SMM's chrome plated rings stands up very well.

As to fragility ... well, that is the nature of the beast. But SMM's prices are so good you can afford to buy several. But you should also check out his new line of beefier rings:

Just ordered the N50 ring. I have a regular wedding band and can not say anything other than these are the best. Never had it break or wear out.

I'd also go with Supermagnetman, but with the N40 ring, I've had great results with it. The N50 one looks odd, like a nut. Nevertheless, I still use it but not as a ring, but rather as a hidden tool under my shirt.

Their customer service is excellent as well.

I have the wizard pk ring and have had to replace it once but I use it almost every time I perform, I also had droped it a number of times. I have had the one I use now for about two years and it seems to still be in great condition. I believe it is also chrome plated which wont where off like the silver plated or gold plated ring will. It will how ever chip if you don't take care of it. ( like dropping it like I did)

Is there any demo video of what is possible with those rings? They sound pretty cool.

Yes there are videos of the uses with a pk ring. However mentioning the videos will constitute exposure.

My preference is towards the PK rings from http://www.unitednuclear.com. Go to the magnet area and scroll down.

Super Magnet Man looks awesome. I have broken 2 Wizard Rings and a couple of knockoffs in the last year and a half.
Thank you for that site.

You might try the chrome. I really like it. The finish holds up much better than either gold or silver. And without really close inspection, most folks will not really notice the difference between the silver and the chrome.

I will look for the chrome, but on first glance it seemed like he only offers silver and gold...

thanks for the tip, I'll check today.

The beefy rings are only in silver and gold, but the regular rings are available in chrome.
