You might be watching infomercials one day, and find that you like me have found yourself wondering what it's like to be in a trance. Before you know it, you're watching the commercial wondering how much you'll have to Pay. Attention and considerations have been given to every detail to make you spend money now. They have teams of scientists to determine that the majority of you will like this product. If you allow these messages to enter your mind, they hope that you'll find yourself eager to buy! Now you'll wonder what what this all means but that feeling of certainty we talked about earlier, that's how you know in your gut that a product is good for you (ANCHOR)

Selling products just got easier.

You don't NEED to BE IN A TRANCE for anything. Its just that YOU LIKE ME...might wonder what its like to GO INTO A TRANCE .....NOW I don't know if what he says MAKES SENSE...but YOU HAVE TO AGREE....its a pretty subtle form of suggestion he is using..In fact I would say hes a Master b a t o r......And you don't have to BE IN A TRANCE to REALISE THAT. Just notice how masterfully he uses suggestion NOW..

I don't know if you can APRECIATE HIS COLD READINGS, or are ware of his genius. But as you find yourself driven to READ THIS POST OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND ACT...you might begin to discover an urge somewhere deep within that reminds HE IS A REAL HYPNOTOC GENUIS

I wish I could write like that hes so natural and you would never notice his amazing techniques.

1) Embedded commands NEED TO BE SPOKEN... I am not targeting the readers of this forum with this particular script - you'd be a real idiot to believe that. Maybe you didn't notice, but I'm not pitching a product here. If you think I wanted you to join my newsletter as a result of reading this, you are wrong and in fact you make me question my I'm sharing any of this. If I wanted that I would have used words like JOIN NOW... The buy now script is meant to be used while you are holding a product in your hands and nonchalantly talking about advertising and marketing. I didn't post the first part of the script either, the part where the emotional anchors are set. The words are even italicized or capitalized, there's nothing hidden or subconscious about this at all. It has to be SPOKEN correctly - otherwise it's nothing more than an example.

2) This example script is something I wrote and something I use - feel free to continue hating.

3) I thought the hypnosis community would actually dig this sort of stuff!

4) You must think this is a joke and that embedded commands really don't work. Let me enlighten you with a great story. I was heading to a party with some friends and the driver of the vehicle was driving too fast for my liking. I was in the back seat at the time, so I leaned forward and started talking to my friend in the passenger seat. I wanted to target the driver unconsciously and I accomplished it by talking to the passenger:

"Hey man, is your girlfriend the type of girl that you have to" ... *SNAPS FINGERS* (Interrupt) ..."GO SLOWLY with?"

Guess what? The driver slowed down. I have countless examples of this - it really does work.

Your friend,
- Dan

I don't hate. I find you funny. These are all BAD examples if using embedded commands. Embedded commands can be used in copywriting but you write in a way that most beginners do.

I used embbeded commands along with other hypnotic phenomena to break sales records for Merced Benz Dealerships and move a £250k donation to a £ 1 million commitment.

I know they work. Top copy writers use them all the time. ( I am not a top copywriter)

The problem with forms of influence such as this is that it's hard to be objective about their success. Did the guy buy the product because of your clever linguistics, or was he going to anyway? Did the girl sleep with you because of those subtle suggestions, or was she drunk and lonely? How can you tell?

I'm not saying it's not valid - I use embedded suggestions and I'd love to think they're effective at least some of the time. But the plural of anecdote is not data.
And confirmation bias is a tricky thing. Can anyone point me to any serious research on this kind of influence?

You might discover that all of a sudden you feel it click. When you feel it click it'll remind you of the rewarding sensation that comes along with the desire to continue learning. I can accept it, if I want to move to a psychic / secret angle and really learn mind control, it's necessary that I continue to be curious! I want to know how the mind works, and I want to feel powerful! What can I say? This is fun!

Well when you teach them to thers and not only do they work they get back much bigger gains deals than expected then yes of course they work. But they do not owork on their own. They are part of a complete process a skillset much like a boxer learns how to uppercut.

An uppercut on its own is no good it doesn't knock anyone out. But fitness timing spacing diet training combination tactics and strategy - allows the boxer to land the uppercut just at the right moment with a variety of opponents.

that's what good persuasion is. Not about data. Sales records are all the data you need.

That's the thing Richard most experts are self-appointed. And the above examples are usually how beginers start using embedded commands(and the mistakes they make). You might think they are awsome but they wouldn't be worth a zap dvd in the world of trying to persuade.

If you want to learn how to use them in writing and on video subtly then study the likes of Joe Vitali, Frank Kern, John Carlton, Dan kennedy, and Harlan Kilstien (who does an NLP based copywriting course that teaches you how to use patterns properly for the written word).

They have all generated millions of dollars with persuasive presentation both on video, live and in written text.

Most of them have free news letters they are worth signing up to. And they all use hypnosis. Real experts in persuasion.
