I went to see Christian Cagical's "Now and at the Hour" last night at the Exit Theater in San Francisco and I am so impressed by how the show has changed since I last saw it in preview in February. The show is so much tighter, more coherent and makes so much more sense since Christian expanded the script to include more about his father. The effects are incredible and Christian's performance is so... so... "Christian Cagical" Go and see it!

It was beautiful--and harrowing. I will be going a second time. It is difficult to describe this show, see it if you have any opportunity to do so. Multi-level, thoughtful Theatrical Bizarre--he hit it!

Absolutely! I saw "Now and at the Hour" the other evening, and it is a real treat! Judging from the delighted reactions of the rest of the audience, I wasn't the only one who felt that way. Christian engaged them emotionally with his story as well as with with his magic. Either could easily have stood by itself, but woven together---egads!--very fine theater indeed. Walking out, I heard the people around me discussing the effects that had hit them hardest. I think they'll be talking about them for quite a long time to come.

Let's not forget the rude lesbian tourists who were on their cell phones during the first five minutes of the performance.
