No I don't, and that's why I don't make general statements. Besides, and it's my own humble opinion here, it's one thing to tell someone to practice a specific move (e.g. a pass) in order to master it, and it's another to tell the same person to build a gaff. You can always push this a little further and advise people to make their own invisible deck, radio deck, their own TT, their own IT and everything else. Of course it can be done, it's just that at a certain point you have to make choices. One of yours was to learn how to split cards, and I respect that, but others may have chosen something else.


I get your point though, wanting everything now and cheap if possible sadly tends to be a trend. But it's reassuring to know that everybody's not going this way (at least I know quite a few people who aren't), either over here or in the States.

Apparently Christian had troubles with his software and was experiencing delays with his card-printing, but now things seem to be fine - just for you folks to know.

it looks like I started a big discussion. Here is my opinion:
I was looking for the doublebacker, because I need the boublefacers to built gimmicks for a new effect of mine and it is not easy to do. Of corse I can also make the doublefaced cards plus the gimmicks, but this will cost a looooot of time and then I have to take more money for the trick. Do you want this? I don't think so. And there are specialists like Christian who can print those, and I think these people wouldn't like it if everybody built their own gimmicks. And I didn't say I want it cheap. I like to pay a lot for good quality but still sometimes it is to expensive.
