I've been using this in conjunction with Alarmed, at someone else's suggestion, and it seems to work great. You get the initial revelation of the poster, but then really sink the deal by showing the clock with the hour and day the spec supposedly woke from their nightmare. Also, it's quite easy to make up and memorize your own st**k using DC, due to the subject matter of the posters, which lend themselves to mnemonics. That helps if you want to really randomize the deck.

Tons of ideas with these cards, sometimes I use a stack of horror cards with the mnemonic S C A R Y M O V I E and keep them in a stainless steel credit/business card holder. This makes a great shiner.

Been looking for someone one the sales side looking to get rid of these at a decent price. Im a Huge Movie Buff but even Bigger Horror Fan. I doubt it but I wonder if movies such as "Dead Alive" "Scanners" "From Beyond" are amongst the rest.

This my new favorite, I got it for Christmas & it is absolutely fantastic!

I memorized the dates of all the movies, so I can tell them the year & if its the original or the remake their thinking of.

A great nuiance, the dates. I find if you just memorize 5 a day, you will get it down in no time.

One more thing, learning the dates on these posters makes it a hundred times better in performance! Think remote viewing. Smile

This has been said before, but this goes very well with "Alarmed" by Noel Qualter. While you're drawing the sketch of the horror movie poster, you do the dirty and have Alarmed ready to go as a kicker. As you're asking them questions, ask them the day of the week and the time they woke up from their nightmare about the movie. Then produce a photo you took of your clock, taken on the exact same date and time, when you awoke from your nightmare about the movie you saw. It's a nice combo because they think the effect is over when you hand them the sketch, but then after a couple of beats you produce the photo from your wallet...
