Are the original Ninja Rings gone forever, they do not seem to be available anywhere?

Magic Geek seems to have set available... Are these not the originals? If not, I'm curious as to what the difference is.

Oh dang... You're right. I can't even find them on eBay. Let me know if you find 'em somewhere. I've been thinking of getting a set myself. I just didn't know how scarce they were.

I asked shoot about the original rings. He told me they are being made. I do not know if hr meant permanently or not. If you request a duplicate set to a magic shop, I bet they can order it for you.

The Ninja+ set was recently released. Ninja+ was an extension of the Ninja Rings and a matching set of rings were released by the same guy. I haven't seen them, but judging by the name, they're probably about the same size.

I'm not sure you can get a full set of Ninja rings from Matthew. Perhaps you can but I was not aware of it. But don't assume that Ninja+ consists of the same rings as Shoot's set. Bill |

I believe Matthew is now selling a set of four rings that I assume is similar in function to the Ninja rings and similar in fit and finish to the Ninja + rings. I am sure this is magicians nit pick but the original Ninja rings are of exceptional quality for several reasons. Key ring is same size as standard ring (must be made of a shorter rod of metal). Key has rounded edges that do not cut into your skin. Finish on Ninja is non-chip non-chrome. They are very stiff (including the key) and flex very little which gives the links a very sharp quality. Matthew seems a very nice guy and has responded to emails I am sure he would detail the contruction of his rings. I wrote to him quite a while ago when Ninja plus was hitting the States and asked him about his rings vs. the Ninjas. It appeared on the orignal training video that he was using Ninja ring. He said that the initial set was made from Ninja rings but for manufacturing he moved to a thinner chrome ring which he now favors. Ninja plus is a great routine but I still wish I had a set of Original Ninjas I believe they are of special quality

Videoman, the Ninja+ set doesn't have the same rings, but a newer set was released that compliments Ninja+.

Check out Murphy's Magic. That's the only place I've seen them.

The ninja plus rings are not bad, they are a compairable set of rings. I like the feel of the original ninja rings better. Not to mention the nice key on the originals.
