Wooh, I really like the method. I have to go out to buy the gimmick together, so I can't try it out yet

I believe this is a great effect. As I stated before, it should be followed by a gambling effect. However, it hit me that a great follow up would be "Zoom". After taking the cards out of the box you have them examine one of the cards. You immediately take it back and the card becomes animated as if haunted.
Just a thought. -Ron |

Zoom is a great idea... unfortunately my Zoom broke within an hour. I don't recall misusing or mistreating it, but anyways, I'm off topic now.
I am not home but I phoned there and was told my copy of Legend has arrived! Once I go through it and field-test it at a gig or two, I will provide a full review here.

Allright, today I made the gimmick. I had one thing f***ed up, but whatever, I was able to do the trick. I did a quick try on a friend who was around , just to test it. So with not a word of presentation I said to him: "Put your finger up there..."
And then I did the part where de deck rises. My friend was like: "Lol.." and went to the TV... But jet a few hours later I had 2 other friends coming over so I dimmed the lights, lit a candle and put on some mysterious music I have. I then telled the exact same storie as Steven does about a Mexican gambler. followed up with the exact same routine but more 'spooky' because of the lights/music. So at the first part (where the deck moves horizontally) the girl spectator looked pretty stunned and said: "Oh my god.. that's.. crazy!". 2nd part same. Then the 3rd part. She said the ghost's name three times again and the deck started to rise! With big eyes she released het finger and jumped out of her seat to put on the light. "OH MY GOD! that was so scary! Never - do - that- again!" It was great! But yeah, this needs a real presentation too And for the gimmick It takes a little while to make, but you wil have most props around your house probably |

Oh, man. One more experience I have to share (sorry for my lame english, I'm Dutch )
2 Of my friends (not one of the above stories) were coming over to pick up some of their stuff. So all of a sudden I decided to give the Legend Deck another try. This time, I only dimmed the lights a bit. I told them I was going to show them how to use their psychic powers. I just skipped TO the 3rd part (deck rise) en put the deck on table (standing). I told both of them to put one finger on the top of the deck and send the energy from their body to their finger right to the bottom of the deck. I said this would create some sort of small energy ball underneath the deck which will cause the deck to rise. And yes, there it was! the deck started to rise! One of them was like "Oh god, what the hell is this!". But the other one, he had SUCH a great reaction; As soon as the deck started to rise, there was PURE FEAR in his eyes! 100% fear. He looked sooo scared! I know him all my life, but never saw him look like that. Priceless! What a great effect! |

After you see how the gimmick works you can make your own with very little practice. When I first got the effect and checked the cards that they sent I thought they gave me two normal cards. I could not find anything unusual or any gimmick. After reading the instructions all I could think was WOW, that's really cool.
I bought a couple of the decks from The Illusionist site that look old and worn out. Those go perfectly for this routine and the ghostly Zoom effect. They look like a deck that just might have been used by Pancho. -Ron |

That's nice!
But most of the time, I'm not that good with making my own gimmicks with the *T |

Just my 2 cents, it is amazing, and fairly easy to make , it will take some time, but I am tired of one trick DVD's that are incomplete, this one requires a special something, that you need to go out and buy, I found it a hassle and for the price it could have been included, he does show you how "You may have it in your house" I did not, I had to drive to 2 stores to find it, He could have included it, it would have cost him only pennies, I had to purchase a small quantity for about 5 buck's , of which I needed about 7 cents worth, but that’s $5.00 more and the gas and time to find it. In fact you should not have to buy anything when you get an effect that you pay for it.

Ok, I owe a huge apology to Steve Fearson, I received a PM from someone telling me, he does include the special something, and for sure it was in the CD box, but in my defense, first it is nearly invisible and in his instruction, he tells you where to buy it? anyway, a great effect and very complete.

Of course it was nearly invisible....And the material makes 2 gimmicks. If you want to make more, check your PM box. I have sent you a PM on where to find the material.
