I've got a nice old chrome cigarette case that used to belong to my uncle Ken. I'd like to make a ghost glass effect using the surface of the chrome and wondered if anyone knows if there is a way of doing that?

Cheers

The ghost glass liquid can be found on that big auction site that shall not be named. Just do a search for "ghost glass".

Thanks guys. I was aware of ghost glass but was really asking if it (or something similar) works on chrome. I believe I have some solutions to try.

I believe Brother Kotah has a way of doing this if the ghost glass liquid doesn't work. I'll leave it to him. I'm sure he'll pop up soon.

While "geezer" by itself may be ambivalent in its meaning please be assured that "diamond geezer" is an appellation much prized on this soggy isle.
I refer you to the late Victorian music hall ballad, "Ebenezer the Diamond Geezer ('e sure was a bosom pleaser)."

But you will have to beaware of a dodgy geezer. Especially if he is trying to sell you a genuine reproduction Higley.

If you want something steamy, try an ol faithful geezer. (get it?)

See? I told you he'd be here! Heh, heh, heh. Let that be a lesson in invocation.

PS Hey, save me a seat on the geezer bench.

Stuart, I sent an even cleaner, less time consuming method to you in a responding PM. One of the two should meet your needs.

Diamond Geezer? Wasn't that a telly show with one of my favorite actors, Sir David Jason? Was absolutely hooked on him as Del Boy and Jack Frost. Have seen most of the Fools & Horses and all of the Touch of Frosts (twice, going on 3rd time this fall). A fine actor!

My dad was once described as looking like a cross between David Jason and Lee Van Cleef.
