What a sham this America's Got Talent is. After "making" it to the second round Jay was sent home without ever getting to perform for a second time. Why send him through in the first place, to just send him home the day he arrives? What a joke. He did well, he rocked it, and stood out above every one else. I guess they already have their hand-picked magic act ready to win.

Ya, couldn't agree more.
If you make it through to the next round, you should get to showcase your act again. No offence to Drew, but I think Jay should have advanced as well. I wish Drew good luck though. |

Historically, they all dislike Magicians for some reason. It appears they like groups better. No magician will ever win on that show.
Jay didn't even get a chance to show his best stuff!

I think the judges liked Nathan Burton. He's probably the only guy who's had a shot at doing anything on that show.
Good luck, Drew.

As soon as magicians realize they are not going to win when it comes to shows like this the better off they will be. The best they can hope for is to be able to say that they appeared on America's Got Talent and have some footage of their act.

Maybe if he was a girl. The judges would like him then.

Speaks well of Burton, and it's good for magic.

I think that if jay was given a second chance to perform he would do really well.
But in the meantime we should cheer on Drew Thomas! |

I just watched the episode and it was very disappointing to see how they eliminated my friend Jay. He even kept me in the dark about what was going on.
Hopefully he caught a show or two while he was out in Vegas .. no reason to waste a trip. What happened to the dude they didn't recognize from the first season .. I think his name was Nathan Burton?? Steve |

Exactly, therefor he was qualified to win the competition. He didn't win the first time, in fact he didn't come close. Why would the second time around be any different? Give someone else a chance. |

So the show should just keep bringing back all the old losers instead of letting the new guys get a crack at it. Look I'm ****ed because Jay got eliminated without even performing. How is that just? And no, I am not doubting Nathan's talent. This debate in fact has nothing to do with him. Its to do with the ******** politics of so called realitt programming. |
