Does anyone know if the pen would pick up a magnetic quarter through an envelope? And what the range would be?
Or even if the pen was in my shirt pocket and the envelope maybe held close to my chest (maybe while I am gesturing) would it be sensitive enough to get a reading? I have a Chazpro mag quarter I am using. |

Yes you would have to come pretty close to your chest but it would be strong enough.

Maybe I don't know the circumstances, but I wouldn't pick up the envelope as they could say that you could tell by the weight of the envelope or the shifting of the quarter that it was in fact in there.

All of them would have a quarter in them, only one would be signed.

Ok that makes sense. Youre using a dry erase marker I'm assuming? I have an idea on how to justify scanning the envelopes, pm me for more details if you would like

Seems like a PK R*** would be a lot simpler and more effective. Or a very strong m***** placed in the shirt pocket could let you know as well

Dave, good thinking! I was just brainstorming a little to come up with some alternative uses for the Cobra Sharpie. Thanks for the idea, it does make sense and would be actually easier!
