What did Vernon use? I love the look of his wand, and wanted right weight and length for spin move. Love the shiny aspect and wondered about cups as well.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated! DM |

He used different sets. Check out http://www.sherwoodmagic.com if you're SERIOUS about performing with a set of silver cups that are the real deal when it comes to Vernon (even endorsed by his estate). On the cover of "The Essential Dai Vernon" you'll be able to see a beautiful brass set of Joe Porper cups that Vernon was known to have used as well. Although, I heard that his favorite set was those red, blue, and yellow cups that come with magic sets. (joking)
I'd be interested in knowing who made Vernon's wand(s) as well. There's lots of knowledgeable magicians here on the board, so somebody will probably be able to tell us. Although, one can't go wrong with a wand from Gaughan, Wayne, Porper, or Levit. Good Luck! MJ |

MJ, thank you friend. check out my other post and you'll find some great info in reply to me. Bill Palmer has been a real help as well.
