I am trying to order this using the PayPal option, which is not in English.
Can you help?
with thanks,

"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.

Sorry about that, I thought the paypal pages would just be in the language of the person ordering, but apparently not. I will try to change that next week.

I did receive an order from Canada though, maybe that was you?

Yes, that was me from Toronto, Canada (where just last week end, David Ben brought in Juan Tamariz, Max Maven, Mac King and Bob Sheets for special performances - and we have 2 great Brick & Mortar shops: Morrissey Magic and Browser's Den).
This is a great magic city.
I look forward to getting your book!

Ok, great. It should take about a week for it to arrive. I hope you like it.

The book arrived.
Wonderful concept.
Clear patterns.
The English is perfectly ok.
This is a real, hard-boiled "work book" for the serious shell game operator.

I have only two left of the first edition of this booklet, so I made a second edition. It has the exact same information as the first edition, I just made it look better. I used better quality paper and the cover is now much nicer, so it actually looks like a booklet instead of a paper. Below are the front and back cover, somehow imageshack doesn't get the colors right though. The actual colors are more like the colors of my website. I have also translated my website in English, so you can also order the booklet through my website now: http://www.thegrifter.eu The two first editions that are left are being sold through ebay.

Thanks for reminding me about that. I haven't figured out yet how to get it in English.
I'll send the booklet tomorrow. Thanks for ordering.
All the best,

It's a great book and Peter has a very interesting notation that make real sense when learning the patterns. All the different patterns are here. It helps make sense of the Osbourne book.

Peter it would be great to annotate the Osbourne book with your notations? I would definitely buy that one.

Bob.

Ah c'mon Sarge, PLEASE tell me I don't have to memorize this book TOO! Boot Camp is kickin my butt as it is! Smile

Looks like a great book Peter and one I will surely add as my obsession grows!

Thanks for the nice words Bob. I haven't got the Osbourne book but if it has patterns it can of course be annotated with my notation. I might try and do that in the future. Maybe we can talk about that when you are lecturing in Belgium, I'll probably be there.
Mickey, looking forward to receiving your order. Smile

Mr. Atinczor,

I've been checking in every day to see what your reaction would be. Don't forget to give us an update.

Respectfully,

I purchased this book a while back after reading Phil's review in this thread. I'm getting back into the swing of practicing and I'm finally utilizing this workbook like I should.

It really is an excellet book, and it's still available on eBay directly from the author. I have Phil's problem of keeping track of where the pea is supposed to be, and this book is a godsend.

One of the best things about the patterns is that they look _just enough_ like you're trying to trick the mark, which is how I think some believe the game is actually played.

I'm hardly a seasoned worker, but this book is a great resource. Just don't buy it expecting to learn steals, as technique isn't included in the book, only fair and unfair patterns.

This thread should get a bump. The patterns book is not only inexpensive it is marvelous.
It will give you confidence.
It will allow you to take a set routine and go “off script” if and when needed.

It will allow you to do a real shell game and not just a demo.

It’s awesome.
Hope the booklet is still for sale. Seems like it is.
