I just saw a video demo ov the TeleThought Wallet online. I was really impressed. But having used wallets like the Thought Transmitter I've learned that every once in a while ppl (friends mostly) ask to look at the wallet and see if the card is still in there or whatever. The Thought Transmitter Wallet can be handled quite a bit by ppl w/ out them finding the secret. But can the TeleThought Wallet?
Thanx for ur time! Robert EC

If there's no card in the hot side then you're safe. Once there is a card in the hot side then you'd have a problem if the take it from you and look at it from the same side you are standing.

Like I said, if nothing is on the hot side then they can look. The moment you put something in the hot side then anyone holding the wallet could possibly see it if the turn it around or hold it at an angle.

IMHO giving the wallet out BEFORE the effect is like stating you're using a normal deck of cards. If they're normal, why say it. I keep business cards in my wallet and actually use it as a business card wallet before and after the show so people see me handling it normally. They then take that to the next step.

I agree with Dov. If you just bring it out for an effect it's highly suspicious, but if you have the wallet out before with nothing happening related to it, people will just get used to it.

I agree with both of them. If you just handle the wallet like a wallet and don't pay much attention to it then you're safe.
I think what happens is magician's guilt and it shows when they are performing. Just think of it as your everyday business card wallet. If you had a regular wallet like that would you worry about someone thinking it was a gimmick? You would just hand it out or pull business card out and not even think twice. Greg

I have handed out the Thought Transmitter wallet for inspection but got rumbled once. So not again. I agree act normally and perform accordingly.
