Hey guys,
I know I've asked this type of question before, so I'll ask it for the last time, in a slightly different way. What books would you consider a must for any serious cardican's libary? I want to know if you could take one book/series of books to a desert island with you which one/ones would they be, what books could you not do with out, what books has influenced the way you perform / what you perform the most? "Counts Cuts Moves & Subtlety" By Jerry Mentzer.

The question is which books for the SERIOUS cardician...well, that would definitely mean the Giobbi's series Card College in its entirety and the best for last, the ED MARLO's titles. He published significantly so my favorites would be:
The Riffle Shuffle Trilogy Marlo's Magazine, Vol. 1 through 6 Revolutionary Card Technique Shank Shuffle |

Mark,
I'm glad you mentioned Mentzer's book. It has more bang for the buck than anything a beginner might grab off the shelf. I think I paid six or eight bucks, but that has been some time ago. |

Encyclopedia of Card Tricks is a valuable reference book and "Semi-automatic card tricks" (all volumes) are a valuable set too.

everything by Paul Gordon (just kidding)
I'll add to the list "AOA," "Annemann's Card Magic," and, well, basically everything written by Vernon.
