Hi there,
Here is my take on the sandwich effect that borrows from David Solomon and Andrew Normansell. I simply tried to make it a little bit cleaner, and I added a different plot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w0TDR3-5D_c Enjoy, Stefan |

I preferred your take on Grandpa's Aces.
Very good handling of the ace assembly. Too many over and under moves on the cutting to the aces. The very beginning, where the cards were re-adjusted with no effect, seemed just laborious. I'd suggest that you just take it off the film or re-shoot that part. All in all, a very elegant take at Grandpa's Aces. The ace vanishes are particularly well done. Congratulations. Now, what changes are you going to bring to the routine to make it your own: a script? Some variants in the handling? Both? It's hard to improve on masterpieces, but you could make it your own with a personal script that goes astray from the grandpa story, keeping a strongly emotional content. :)

Lawrence,
Thanks for the honest comments. It is nice to read something from somebody who apparently knows what he is talking about. I will try to make the best of your suggestions. By the way: The Grandpa-vid was shot 11 years ago!!! I loaded it up just to get a few comments on my "early work". Best regards, Stefan |

This is just a little update on my card effect, which has received a number of good reviews so far.
I am happy to announce that “Pretty Attractive” is now also available in ITALIAN LANGUAGE (which I am a bit proud of)! If anyone is interested, please contact: http://www.librigiochidiprestigio.com/de......ente.htm Of course, the German and English versions are both still available from me at http://www.stefanmagie.de/shop.htm and Chris Wasshuber at http://www.lybrary.com Best regards, Stefan |
