Hi all,
I was just wondering what you all thought the best one man illusion was...if one even exists. I don't do illusions, but have recently begun to think about making my show bigger. Illusions would definintely make the show bigger. |

I use Bisection by Andrew Mayne, it gets a lot pop.

I am not too knowledgable of stage illusions- but I do love them. David Copperfield does a performance of a laser routine (I forget who invented it). He gets cut in half and walks down the stage with his 2 halves separated. As far as I know this is a 1 man illusion

When I saw it, I was 100% it was done with special effects but I wouldn't reccomended for one men show, too many problems. I would reccomend Walter Blaneys "Ladder Levitation" Illusion. Andrew Mayne has come up with some amazing one man illusions... I agree with Dreadnaught that Bisection is a good one man.
Although I just saw that self levitation magic4545 posted and I'd have to say I'm stunned

A Lester Lake style head chopper gets a lot of mileage, and even David Seebach say's it should be the first of the first as a recommendation. It plays huge!

Correction to my post: I was referring to In Half illusion and not Bisection.
