I don't really understand. The bill/whatever is produced/vanished in the strip pack?

From what I read I think its a vanishing and producing system built into a strip packet almost like gecko and holdouts and stuff...
Not completely sure but I think that's what it is... Bernardo Rodriguez |

Guess we'll have to wait and see. Sounds good though.

Demo is up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLHYdilV4Bo
It's like an automatic change bag built into a Listerine Strips packet. Looks really sweet but I'm wondering how the reset is. I understand that different effects with it will require different reset times, but I'd like to know the gist of it. |

Thanks for the link!
After watching, I went to Paul Harris Presents and pre ordered after reading everything and they had the demo link also. http://paulharrispresents.webs.com/apps/......w/834388 This looks really sweet! |

The reset is only 5-10 seconds depending on which effect you are performing.

A bit like "Fresh Mint 2.0" by Cameron Francis. Wondering whats the different?
Agree with PatrickGregoire and Bernardo Rodriguez. I first thought that it is a pull device, something like Geko too. To have a pull in that size will be great. But after watching the demo, I found that it is just a mini changing bag. Doesn't seems interesting enough to purchase. |

I never said I thought it was a pull... The first time I read about this effect, I read it off of Paul Harris' website, so I knew exactly what it was.

Adam Grace has a breath strip trick that would work along nicely with this.

So do you get a special gimmicked strip container with this or can it be done with any strip container? That would be cool if it was built in to a regular pack...

I love most "Paul Harris Presents" effects but, this sounds VERY limiting -a Listerine breath strips change bag?? The thing is so thin and small and there is no motivation to stick anything foreign in there.
On a related note, anyone buy that breath mint trick Paul put out years back?

It sounds interesting because of two things: it can be examined and the spectator can do it herself.
But I wish it was something more common like a pack of gum or something. |

I agree that it would be great if it were something more common but you can work with a Listerine packet. If you want to make a bill vanish inside for example, talk about Listerine. Ask who's ever rinsed with Listerine. Confirm that it really burns the mouth. Tell them it's because there's an acidic type of chemical in the mouthwash that kills germs and bacteria. The same thing is in the strips. Let me show you on a larger scale. Then you borrow a bill, tear off a corner, fold up the bill and slip it inside the packet. Either vanish the bill visually, or the way that I would do it is close the packet as I turn my hand over and extend the packet to them asking them to hold it in their fist. That way you delay the vanish and they truly believe that it's in there until the very last moment of magic. The "acid" in the strips is desintegrating the bill. They take a look, it's gone. You reproduce it from wherever you want and the corner matches. To reset, take out the bill from the packet, keep the torn corner and plant the bill. You're ready to go once more.

This is very visual. Definitely and extreme close up effect, though.
Fresh Mint is pretty different.
