Hello everybody,
Bunny Clown from Supreme is a great trick, basically the hippety hop rabbits with just one bunny sitting in a wooden top hat. And at the end the rabbit changes into a funny clown. Does anybody know a dealer who sells the trick? Thanx Daniel |

I don't believe anyone is making this for resale now. Having said that, it doesn't seem that it would be too difficult for someone with basic skills to duplicate for his own use. (I don't remember if it's described in any of Edwin's books).

Sorry, they are no longer made.
I bought mine about 20+ years ago! Great prop! =Frank=

I bought one on ebay about 6 months ago for $100.00. These are hard to find. I looked on every auction site almost every day for a year before this popped up. Mine is almost new and was apparently being sold by a widow. I wouldn't part with it for $1,000.

Daniel,
I believe your looking for "Top Hat Bunnies" by Terry Burgess. This is still made by the Albion Magic Company in the UK and will run you about $115.00 USD (at today's exchange rate) plus shipping to the USA which will probably be $30.00 small packet mail out of UK. Here is the link: http://www.albionmagiccompany.co.uk/tophatbunnies.html Hope that's the one you want. Thanks, David |

The premise is similar, but Supreme's Bunny Clown only had one rabbit figure, and it was full figured from head to toe.

Hello David,
thank you very much for the link, really interesting to see. But there are several differences from this trick to Bunny Clown. The tricks are similar, but not the same. For example in Bunny Clown there is only one rabbit that changes into a funny looking clown. Thanx again Daniel |

Wow! A blast from the past! This was one of my favorite kidshow sucketr tricks and excellently made in wood by Supreme Magic. I bought 2 and just wore them out! I thought the method was fantastic, much better than Hip-Hop Rabbits and you were left 'clean' at the end!
Wonder if any other manufacturers are making it now? The trick could be made in plastic quite effectively if someone still has the building rights. I'm pretty sure it must be in one of the Edwin Hooper books put out by Supreme 15-20 years ago now! |

Here's the scoop. They are readily available from Peter Quincy in Cambridge, England. He has them on the Camtrix magic stand every year at the Blackpool convention. He was the man who originally made them for Edwin. They cost about 50 pounds each. I have 3 of them. Great prop!

Thank you Spangles!
I was wondering how if they were so hard to find I was getting so many responses to my inquiry to purchase one. If anyone wants one I will put you in contact with the leads I have. Spangles if you could post the contact information for Peter Quincy that would be great. Thanks, David |
