There is an effect titled "Eights" on the link http://homepage.ntlworld.com/wayman/Download.htm. It mentions the effect as "Roy Waltons Eights routine".
In youtube the link http://www.youtube.com/user/wayman72 has the same effect mentioning the effect as "Walt Maddison's Eights routine" Can anyone confirm whether the effect is of Walt Maddision or of Roy Walton and where could it be found. |

(1st Link at ntlword doesn't work.)
I looked through Walton's 2 books...Complete Walton Vol. 1 & 2 and nothing indexed as an "Eights Routine." Possible out there at a later publication. (Not familiar with Walt Maddison's works.) However, Maddison's Eights on Youtube is a heavily altered version of a Roy Walton effect called: "Oil and Queens". This link is "in the area" of Walton's Oil and Queens routine. Handling has been altered as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbjINdn9s2c Hope this helps in your search. Appears Maddison is what you are looking for. |

Link worked. Thanks! Viewed "Oil and Jazz." Basically another oil and water effect. Looked great, but I've never come across anything by Walton with a similar handling.

Swamy,
I think tje effect you are looking for is called "Picon" it was created by Walt Maddisons son. Its on an old vhs, the best of walt maddison. On the youtube link, I credited it to Walt, but it was his find creation. The oil and water video mentioned in another post, has a streamlined version if peter kanes jazz aces, I worked out a way of setting the cards for Elmsley |
