Hi Guys,
I got the call yesterday and it looks like I'll be pitching the squirmle at the New Youk State Fair in Syracuse August 27th - September 7th at an inside booth. Not sure of the spot number yet.

If you plan to visit the fair or are yourself pitching there please do drop by and say hello.

I'm stopping in Baltimore to visit some old friends like Denny of Denny and Lee magic for a few days...Baltimore is my home town

I leave this Sunday August 23rd and get back September 14th.

I have a new site,go to http://www.dondriver.net

Thanks for all the kinds words about my DVDs.

Man oh man, would I love to watch your worm pitch! Smile Have a great time, Don, and I hope you sell tons of them.

I took August off (way too hot and humid), but am booked solid for Fall Fairs and Harvest Festivals almost every weekend after Labor Day through the end of October, and then will start the indoor Xmas bazaars in November. SETH

Like I told you in NY Don, that kid's got a great career ahead of him if he sticks with pitching!! I was so impressed by him, it wouldn't surprise me if he became the next Billy Mays in a few years!!!

If this kid sold $13,000 worth of Squirmles in a week, he's obviously doing something right!

If I had one suggestion, based on the very short video I saw, it would be to slow down both the talk and the moves. That's one very valuable thing I learned from Whit Haydn's pitch DVD -- slow down so that everyone can see, hear and understand you.

It may seem strange, but it's true -- the slower you talk, the closer people listen. I have slowed down by a good 30-50%, and probably sell twice as much stuff now as a result. I draw bigger tips, too! SETH

Beliver it or not hes much slower on the vid than he was at the start or the fair.If I told him once I told him 100 times SLOW DOWN and he did but not enough.

He'll learn because he wants to learn.

You new guys out there remember TALK SLOW ! If you think you are talking slow enough than cut it in half. REALLY !

Thanks for the post Seth I hope it helps the new guys.

I will add that for a 15 year old, he did a fantastic job, VERY smooth.

And because he's only 15, he's got plenty of time to practice and become even better! SETH

Hey Don,

Thanks for sharing that post of that wonder kid, 13k in a week sounds good to me.

I can see why, his handling, pitching, and flash is top rate.

Thanks again for sharing that...

Hey Don, thanks for the correction, I'm glad to know that he was ONLY making about $1,100 a day. Smile I'm not sure I could even tie the plastic bags that fast!

Just shows what can be done with a good location and a good pitch when the Pitch Goddess is smiling on you. . . . SETH

Still another vid of Alex pitching the squirmle at the New York state fair.
This view is from behind him.
It was the last day and we had boxes of "yellow" ones left over.Yellow dosen't sell that good.So we just put yellow ones out the last day. You'll see Alex made jokes about only having yellow ones left that worked out well.

It didn't hurt sales at all. When you only have one color on the table, they buy it.Another lession to be learned.
