Sorry if this has been asked before - I couldn't find a thread that matched.

Who can suggest some good zombie resources (DVDs, books) as well as equipment (the best zombies, gimmicks). I've dabbled before and would like to know more - I'm certainly more on the comic side of magic.

Thanks

Tony

I suggest you go to some magic shop sites and type in Zombie, that will get you a lot suggestions. All have some value.

Try: On the Café type on zombie in the search block, I just did an came up with tons of information.

Have you purchased a Zombie Ball as of yet?
What prompted your question, are you have trouble with a certain area?

You might try Lewis Ganson's book _Zombie: The Floating Ball_ published by Supreme as part of the Ganson Teach-In series. That is probably the definitive book. Ian Adair published _a la Zombie plus_ with some interesting ideas. Last but certainly not least is Neil Foster's _Further Tips on Zombie_ (which is available as an e-book from Abbott's). I think General Grant published his Zombie routine in his lecture notes "How to Make a Living Stealing...Doves, of course".

The single most influential work ( in my opinion) on the Zombie of late is Al Schneider on Zombie. It was Al who inspired much of Tommy Wonder's work. Tommy wonder's ideas are further explained in book two of "The Books of Wonder"

Losander has some important contributions as well, but the "isolation of action" ideas started with Schneider.
Losander's work with a Bubble Zombie should not be missed and his website gives you access to his commercial material incl. some videos for sale.

I think it was Finn Jon who had a zombie concept with a newspaper replacing the cloth.

I have a bog standard silver zombie and gimmick - just looking to expand ideas.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Are there any particular brands/gimmicks that are better than others? As I've said, mine is your basic silver ball + coil gimmick. It is an area of magic I've always loved but never really explored.

There is sooo much information on this topic if you do a Café search!
And with all humility, some of the bunch of stuff is mine.

I’m open to helping if you PM me specific questions on covered.
So I’ve answered the page Mr. Baker!
