Hello everybody!

Just out of curiousity, and please know I did use the search button first, I am going to blockbuster to rent movies tonight, I'm looking for a good "psychic" themed movie for inspiration and ideas, and I can't think of any, and I havent found any on search, I'm wondering if anyone has any favorites they would like to recommend?

For example, my blindfold routine is "modelled" in some ways to Christopher Walken's performance in Dead Zone,

Any other classics with some good ideas for presentation or effects?

Leap of Faith (with Steve Martin) - Not exactly a "psychic" themed movie, but you could learn a thing or two. Plus it's just a fun movie.

Nightmare Ally - A classic must-see

I believe the movie " Magic" with Anthony Hopkins was brought up in discussion a while back...

I enjoyed it...

Oh yes! That's a good one as well. The "Do as I do" scene is pretty intense.

"Houdini" (1953) is a fantastic movie!

There is also The Gift (2000) and Suspect Zero (2004), but the latter is not very good.

If you want to see a recent film based on the best known mentalist alive today, the Amazing Kreskin, get "The Great Buck Howard," starring John Malcovich as Buck Howard (i.e., Kreskin). While not exactly biographical it is based on him.

What was the movie called something like "Country for old men"? something like that. There is a cool scene in the gas station with the flipping of the coin. I love that scene.
