Ok, We all agreed that Fakinis are THE BEST!!! But, lets no compare...Are the gorilla grip bad balls??? What are the properties that makes bad ones or good ones for manipulation? Are some of you using it in your current repertoire?
Thanks,
Hansel!

Most balls are OK to me. The problem lies in the hands. If your hands are sweating profusely on stage then you may have a problem with the Fakinis. If your hands are very dry you may have trouble with other balls.

Of course we can use lotions, powders, etc but these may affect another routine that involves manipulation.

It is actually a personal choice.

I believe the Gorillas are only available in 1 3/4 inch or smaller size. So if you want/need a larger set then they are not an option. Also, I find them very slippery, especially the shell. They seem to be made from rubber to me rather than silicone, but I cannot be sure about that. Less color choices than Fakini as well.

Hansel, how do the balls feel? Good? Slippery? How about the sh*ll, is it slippery and what is it made of? Thanks!

How do the balls feel? Not so bad...they have a line very dirty of material in the middle, but with an xacto knife this problem may be solved.

How about the sh*ll, is it slippery and what is it made of? The shell is a shame. Is very thin, maybe like ping pong balls and VERY different in comparison with the balls. They don't have a silicone or rubber coate.

Finally I Think Fakini's is unbeatable , but for someone who cant afford the price this would be a nice start. The balls are OK but the shells are VERY bad!

My best,
Hansel!
