I am looking for a photo, or image, of the above illusion. I was told that Mark Kalin and Jinger have/had one. Not sure if this is what Murray Hatfield is using. I believe Johnny Gaughan was the builder. I did not see anything on Jim's site, and K&J did not seem to show anything similar (to the name of the illusion). Not sure if this is the illusion that resembles a printing press.

I just don't know what this particular one is. Geeesh!!

Not as far as I know. The "wringer box" has had two methods tip-over, and m-------)
and has been around for quite awhile.

Just received a great call from Jody Baran in Hawaii with some great info. which I thought I would share.

The Hatfield illusion I mentioned is actually Jody's "Stop the Press" illusion of which 6-8 were built. He and Roger Caps (Wonder Window fame) built them.

The illusion I may be referring to, is the "Poster to Life" in Marks' "Carnival of Wonders" show. But I am not sure it fits the bill!

Oh well, maybe someone else will have some input about the "Human Wringer". LOL

Jody/Roger's press is unbelievable. It is so deceptive. The guys that have them are lucky. Jody says he will probably never make any more of them.

I have been working with Jody for over 6 years. He has worked very hard to get where he is at. It is a dream job but even Hawaii can be boring. That is why I talk with him almost everyday.

Steve Valenti approached Jody about building the effect. After construction was complete there was some type of conflict between them that resulted in Jody marketing the effect. Steve responded with his own advertising for the effect. What each brought to the original project, I don't know for sure, but the concept was Steve's. However, Rogers engineering and design work are all over this.
