When performing close up a parent comes over with his kids and asks to see something for the kids
then watching there face afterwards when they are in shock/awe but are trying to play it cool for the kids! had a few of them tonight but love em!

I think a lot of parents feel that magic is for kiddos. It's great that you got to amaze the kids as well as the parents! That's what we artists need to do more of!

I always enjoy it when I do a show for a child's birthday party and the parents start out in the other room - it's a kids' magic show, after all - and end up crowding the doorway to watch the show.
Good for you! |

I do an in the hands version of anniversary waltz from Matthew J. Dowden's excellent party animal dvd.
but I get all the family involved getting them all to sign it. end up with 5 or 6 names on there sometimes but what a way to remember the magic by maybe 1 of a few card tricks that kids will follow
