Fake It Till You Make It
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJqSgmcUzn0 http://www.troystarmovie.com/ "Prepare to be dazzled like never before in the movie event of the decade. In a classic case of ambition far outweighing talent, burnt out and broke B-grade magician (Troy Star) decides to turn his life around by executing a half-baked scheme to travel the globe shooting a documentary on magic. Once abroad, the plan starts to fall apart. In a bid to keep alive his dreams of money, women and a taste of the big-time, Star keeps hacking away at it despite the mounting odds against success. The action, comedy and drama never stops as he weaves his way around the globe meeting a selection of real-life characters, magicians and some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry - all headed for Las Vegas, in a feel good Hollywood style ending that will leave you inspired and totally entertained. Even documentary's have plots, or at least are supposed to. It just dragged on, going absolutely nowhere. It had it's funny moments, and the editing was great, but this documentary lacked in any real character build up. By the end of the documentary, I'm still left wondering who this guy is, and what the heck happened to the plot? I didn't dislike the movie because as I said, it had it's moments. Just not enough to keep me entertained.

I just watched this and found it quite interesting. Though not a regular movie
per se, but in the end he gets the girl. But the most interesting to me is seeing a guy traveling the world with nothing but the money he makes doing close up magic for tips...??? Not many of us can go on such an adventure just doing our magic...I think... It really has to show something about his ability... The only part is not seeing him work NYC... But the movie does, "leave you inspired and totally entertained. "....
