Hello,
I'm looking for some advice.

I'm trying to locate some Manilla envelopes, but am not sure where to look. (I've warn most of the letters off my keyboard googling!)

The type I'm looking for are the type supplied with Blind Sight(Devin Knight), or used by Richard Osterlind in Bank Night (Mind Mysteries 1).

In case you haven't seen these, they are made of thick "orange" paper, 8cm x 14cm (ish).

My ultimate goal is to create a couple of things Ted Lesley describes in "Paramiracles". If anyone is aware of these items and can offer advice, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

I got mine from Staples in the states. In the UK they don't have them.

Staples or Office depot carries them and should ship overseas.

A search for the terms "pay" or "coin" envelopes should produce some good results.

Paul,

If you are really into envelopes, you might want to try and get some of Al Mann's manuscripts. During his life he published dozens of books with all kinds of gimmicked envelopes, most of them very intriguing.

Well, I have to say that is a relief. I though my google credentials and spidey sense were failing me.

Sucessfully found them on e-bay in the states.

Hi Richard, I'll look into Al Mann, thanks for the tip.

Thanks for your help gentlemen.

If you come from EU, magicshop.ch sells them, but I believe they are more expensive then in the US, because they are imported (as far as I know).

Strange that you can't get them over there. I just bought 20 at 8 cents a peice. I guess it's kind of like the zip pens.

Hi Chaps,

Thought I'd update you to let you know that I did in fact find some in the UK.
Almost good news, only, the cost is the same as if you order them from the states.
It may be a little quicker though.

Yes, I spoke to them shortly after I posted. Utah apparently.
Sorry for the false hope.
America it is. Or become the sole UK distributor....

I'm getting worried that my act is starting to look like a play about a sorting office. Everything seems to be based around envelopes.
I need to work on some other material.
