Sorry for the late post. Christopher & I just got back from a grueling (but fun) lecture tour of the UK. We did 10 lectures over 14 days & drove (& flew) all over the United Kingdom. We had a great time, it was such a pleasure touring with Christopher Taylor.

Will any of Matt's demos shown here on the Café, be explained in the DVD that comes with Alone, I'm sure it will be simple to see onece one has Alone and reviews the demo's, but still , I would like to know.

All of the demos are fully explained on the DVD. Each demo represents a different principal that can be applied to ALONE. Once you understand the basic principals used with ALONE (by watching the DVD) you will be able to apply them to literally 100's of your own routines & variations. If you simply want to perform the routines I perform you can do so by watching the instructional DVD.

A fantastic thing happened the other day. A package arrived in the post addressed to me, this was thankfully not a bill or bad news of any kind, this was really very good news. I had received an ALONE from my good friends Matt and Christopher for testing and all I can say is...

WOW! I LOVE Alone!!!!

Kudos you clever, clever chappies!

Everything is well made and put together, great presentation and high quality goods. As far as the DVD goes it is very clear to learn the effects and the DVD is well put together with some really exciting ideas on there that just tempt your brain into that creative mode.

And the biggest thumbs up I could possibly give this little electrical marshmallow of goodness is that all of these amazing routines can be performed sleeveless, what an absolute triumph! I regularly pull up my sleeves when performing, it feels more comfortable for me for some reason and other electrical items require sleeves to cover up some sort of sensor, not with ALONE! Summer time or winter time this baby is going to be with me! You can even use this in shorts and a t-shirt!

I can't wait to test this in the field and I am already coming up with new ideas for this little puppy! This is going straight into my act and I believe will not be topped for a very long time.

Well I thought I better chime in this week as you are probably all waiting for the 8th installment of the ALONE videos.

I am sorry to say that I will not be posting a video this week. Christopher & I have just returned from our UK lecture tour & leave for Mindvention next week. To say we have a mountain of work & orders to get through would be an understatement!

Thank you so much for all your pre-orders, posts, ideas & support! ALONE is growing into a monster & we are very excited about the things to come with ALONE. You will just love some of the ideas to come on the expansion pack.

ALONE is set for its official release at Mindvention & will then be going to Alakazam in the UK & Hocus-Pocus in the USA, these will be the only official dealers for ALONE in the world. Remember after November 7th the pre-order price of $250 US will no longer be available & all units will ship at the retail price of $300 US.

Watch this space as we will post on this thread with updates for ALONE as they arise. The expansion pack is due for release at Blackpool Magic Convention 2010.

One of the released demonstration videos shows me performing the effect you are talking about. I do not remember which video off the top of my head so you will have to search through them.
