Mike,
Dan's effect from the Sleeping Queen DVD is totally different in effect and method. In Dan's effect, you unwrap a new pack of gum, take out a piece, and then restore the packet. In my Re-Wrapped, you take a chewed piece of gum from your mouth or bottom of a table, squeeze it between your hands, and it restores into a brand new piece that can be given to the spectator. And thanks to Steve and Jamie for the nice reviews! |

I just recieved Gum from Jeff today and Im impressed! Lots of good thinking here. I cant wait to make everything and test it out this week, and I should get my review up soon. But just from watching, I was quite surprised by the methods, both Insta-Wrap and Re-Wrapped fooled me and the methods I would have never guessed, completly ingenious! I personally think Re-Wrapped is the best on the DVD, but will see this week.
Great Job Jeff! |

I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this dvd ever since Jeff shared a performance clip with me last year. The clip really fooled me! Needless to say, I was quite excited when I received the dvd last week.
The main effect, Orbit, is excellent. And a fooler. When I saw the explanation, I slapped my head and shouted, "Doh!" I had worked out a method but I was completely off track! Jeff's version is far better than what I thought it might be. It's a concept which I have used as well but this application fooled me. The other tricks are very good as well. Re-wrapped is very clever, as are the other two effects. Love the picture routine. Great presentation. Jeff's performance style reminds me of Joshua Jay; charming, funny, confident, with a hint of vulnerability. Very nice. No More Card Tricks is fantastic. I saw a video of it a while ago and, once again, it really fooled me! Great trick. Love the "wrap myself in electrical tape" line. Too funny. Also, Jeff explains each effect frighteningly well. Seriously. He obviously scripted his explanations to the letter and it shows. I was very impressed with not only how well scripted the explanations were but also how well he delivered them. Very smooth. Certainly inspired me to step up to the plate on my next video! His credits are also very thorough. The production values are, as expected from Kozmo, very good. Well shot and edited. I have to say, even though I got this dvd for free, I really would have been happy to pay for it. Jeff may be a young guy but he's off to a very impressive start with this first release. And a lot of us older guys could certainly learn a thing or two about clarity of effect and clarity of explanation from watching this video.
