Stanley: Gee...thanks! Doug: Not you...I meant _______ Stanley: Well excuuuuzzzze me! It's my birthday too! Doug: It's not your birthday now stop it... it's _________'s birthday and it's a very important day. Stanley: Well...it could be my birthday. Doug. NO...it can't. You were not born on this day... __________ was born Today! Stanley: (stares at child) Boy he/she's a big one! Smart too! Look! He/She can sit up and everything! Doug: Not born TODAY...I mean born this day ______ 1999 (or whatever date) Stanley: Well...maybe I was born this day too... Doug: You weren't. Stanley How do you know? Doug: Because I made you! Stanley: Well...I know you didn't make Him/Her... Doug: Why do you say that... Stanley: Because your lips don't move when He/She talks! (looks at the Mom)....but Her's do! :) Doug

I tend to write stuff that may go over the head of some...but I like to give credit that kids are a lot smarter than we think...it's after they get to high school that catch the terminal 'stupids'.
