For those people who have mailed out postcards, where are you acquiring the actual address lists? Is there a company that you use, or is there a way to acquire the address data yourself? I'm trying to target families (birthday parties, special occasions, etc.) PS - I know there are many other marketing techniques for promoting family entertainment, but I am focusing now on bulk mail. I have used infousa.com. They are able to narrow your target base with many different options you can use. I have also utilized lists from many different sources, including PTA/PTO memberships, etc. You'd be surprised how many associations also list info on their websites. That, of course, takes a bit of manhours to research, but a stitch in time, and all that. Appearing at festivals, etc. and offering a drawing for a free magic kit, etc will also allow you to gather addresses. Just remember to provide an opt-out is necessary.
