I am curious if this effect is accessible in the way in which it was presented?
Is the method being employed something which would be acutally possible in a street environment? Does anyone know the form of suspention being employed and where I can track it down either in book, or prop? As far as I know this is not the Yogano Jr. method. Warmest regards. |

Likely Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere methods. Accessible, yes. Practical, not.

Are you implying that Chris Angel doesn't make unsuspecting spectators go into a deep trance simply from his touch and then spontaneously levitate?

People forget that Criss Angel ISN'T a street magician but a stage magician using the street as a backdrop. This effect is not a practical street illusion by any stretch of the imagination. Effects like it can be found in the Encyclopedia of levitations and suspension but if it's a street levitation you want don't over stress yourself.
When I was younger I was obsessed with street levitations but now that I'm older I fail to see the point of busting your @@@ over a street trick if you're not filming a TV special. Most of the time if you can't present it in a table-hopping or stage setting it's not worth it. This levitation is better presented on stage. If it's the streets you want just stick to something practical. No sense in spending thousands of dollars for it. |

Alexo, I am interested in this suspension.
I have an affinity for the image it presents. Any info is greatly appreciated. |

The one I'm talking about can be found in the book "Encyclopedia of Levitations and Suspensions" but I'm telling you unless you're filming a TV special it is not a practical street levitation.
