I'm hearing a lot these days that most of the new Jay Sankey stuff are useless and crap. Well, I would have to say that the Bigger finish is an excellent trick! It gets Great reactions and fools a lot of Laymen. I think Bigger finish was 10 times better than the original Big Finish because Bigger finish involves a jumbo card (Not four cut out cards) and it happens in the Spectator's hands. The routine is quite simple and it's not that expensive. This trick would have to be one of the Better Jay Sankey effects in my opinion.

I agree. This would be ideal for the routine "10" (also by Jay) from AOA.

Sorry to say, I have to debate this one. I love Jay's work, but this one...ehhh...not quite. The first time I saw it, I felt I could see the ending comming beforehand. Maybe its just me, but I didn't like it. Sorry.

How could you see the ending coming? How could a layperson EVER see this ending coming?

Ditto Marko. You have to think in terms of what you audience likes and expects.

Hey Alex,
How could you feel the ending coming when you first saw it? It must have been a lack of presentation or skill on the part of the performer who first showed this to you that must've made you feel that way. I can guarantee that your audience will not see this coming...do they EVER see what's coming

Only if you talk and demonstrate eg:

Well, I am interesting in buying this, but just a quick question, what's the quality of that card, is that s specialy printed folded jumbo card or just a jumbo card which is cutted up and stick with some normal cards??

After thinking it for a while, I figured out how I saw the ending comming. Its because of the name. Now taking that knowledge away, yes, it is much better.

I still think this is Sankey C work. I don't see how this effect has the power to end a act. Does Sankey even use it to end his routine or is this another thing he put out that he never uses?

The appearance of a jumbo card is often a wonderful way to signal the end of an act. I wouldn't end on it myself, just saying. Like I said, this great for "10" from AOA.
