Does anyone know where you can get a copy of "The Mind And Magic Of David Berglas" and how much copies are going for these days...if you can even find one? I am especially interested in the Berglas newspaper prediction. Thanks!

I've always wondered why these haven't been released commercially. I have most (not all) episodes, recorded directly from TV, but would love to have a professionally released set.

Thanks very much everyone! And Magiguy..it would be a great idea if the Berglas shows were released as a set on DVD..in my opinion anyway. I only saw him on t.v. as a kid one time and he was doing his pickpocket act. It made an impression on me even then.

It is better if the book "re-print" again, this time ...

I too would love a copy of the book, Mind and Magic of David Berglas.
Why is it that on one side of the world a person looks at a picture of the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks so real." At the same time on the other side of the world a person looks at the Grand Canyon and says, "it looks like a picture."

There is one on Ebay right now
You might say reality is the result of complex negotiations between the observer and the observed. But that is simply a point of view.
Many Thanks Garrad |

I'm looking forward to the upcoming Kaufman book of Berglas's card magic.
From the Genii Forum (posted by Richard Kaufman): I've been working in secret with David Berglas for the past year on what will be a book devoted entirely to his card magic. Half a dozen trips to England later, I'm well on the way with writing the text and can promise you a genuinely miraculous book that will, in turn, teach you how to perform miracles. The Mind and Magic of David Berglas, the superb book written by David Britland and published by Jim Steinmeyer, covered so much of David's life and magic that only a small portion could be devoted to his card magic. The new book will greatly expand upon the material covered there, along with much previously unpublished material. I expect the book, which will also contain a DVD, a CD-Rom, and a pair of 3D glasses, to be published by summer of 2010 in time for David's 85th birthday. |
