Do any of you have this effect (Invisible Eye by Dennis Marks) and can tell me if it's worth the $40 that it costs?
Thanks. |

I have it and I love mine. Bought one a couple of years ago and used it to death, then I lost it. Boy was I upset at myself. I looked high and low for another one. The last time I was at the castle, I met Dennis, well I had met him before, I just didn't realize he invented it. He pulled it out and I said where did you get that, I have been looking all over for it he said he invented it. I was stoked NOw I have another one and a back up I love this thing It is so good I never talk about it with other guys. infact if you will delete your post I will delete mine and we will keep this little gem to ourselves.

It`s a clever, well-made gimmick and a magician fooler for sure. However, the same effects can be produced without the gimmick by using for example a memorized deck or a peek. I don`t know if it`s worth the $40 for you, but I didn`t find it very useful in the long run.

O.K. if you say so?
I think then what is the bother to use anything other than a classic force then. This gimmick allows you to utilyze your showmanship skills, intead of technique. I would rather FOCUS on PRESENTATION. I have found a real audience could care less how technical profficient you are. they just like being entertained. If you are as technicaly profiiciant as you say you are they should not see any technique any way. Why work so hard on a gimme trick. I think this is a conversation for other guys to discuss because the point will be missed. If I say it. cheers |

Mind you, that the invisible eye can be use not only for a card trick, believe it or not, i can use it for a pivture duplication.

I have one and to show you how powerful it can be I have shown it to magicians and fooled them big time. The kicker is I have even fooled guys that own one. Yes that's right it is so subtle. Reed can probably understand where I am coming from here. Some say it is too simple to be worth 40.00. I say that's what is great about it. It is a great tool with endless possibilties.I use it all the time in conjunction with my Cyber Card effect.

I agree with the other comments. Great little tool to add to your arsenal.

Jack,
be aware that you need a card case to perform that one |
