I didn't enjoy this one so much. I did however love the part when Derren very gently took the p**s out of the guy that did remote viewing. All the other statements appearing on the screen, showing he covered every conceivable eventuality, LOL

I think its getting better each week, I loved the light bulb effect and the RV guy. The piece on stealng a TV didn't do much for me though. I can't wait for the casino event next week.
I drew a bird and a smiley face. I guess the face is kind of circular, so maybe I am psychic after all? |

I enjoyed the majority of Friday night's show. Particularly liked the very end with the Stonehenge reveal. Very clever. Looking forward to the big finale next week too.
I guessed it was a Terry's Chocolate Orange a week or two ago... Their logo is pretty much concentric circles. Where's my prize?

And what a cheek to mention how the editing of the show aided the remote veiwer as if he never takes advantage of editing? How would deren feel if he was invited onto a show only to find out later they revealed the editing sequence and what actually happened in order to create the effect? I think he was out of order in his behaviour. I think Derren's team are the masters of marketing/manipulation. Its no mistake to move from the mass apeal of the lottery onto proven strategies of mass participation. I thought the light bulbs were the weakests effects since they are marketed effects with no cover up. I absolutely hated the Café sequence and stealing the tv. Although I did think the final revalation of stone henge to be very clever. Hes moving towards mainstream magic with mass apeal with every show. Which is great for his bank account. |

According to whom? You mean edit and make comments that ridicule someone? is that really entertainment? It wasn't that long ago Derren was almost claiming to be real himself. He moved to the skeptic stance in order to escape being exposed and ridiculed himself.
I just didn't think it was necessary or added to the show. Now some will believe what Derren did was genuine - that means someone has a "right" to show how the TV editing created the effect. One believes he is real the other says its a trick. The other exposes TV editing but most l ikely used something similar to pull of the effect. To me that means someone else has the right to expose the effects if you take that logic. |

The RV guy claimed to be real. He had REAL powers. His ability was true. Therefore it is only fair that we see all of his drawings and guesses. If he is real, and genuine then HE should have no issue with all his guesses and notation being displayed.
Derren is a showman and his disclaimer testifies to being an entertainer that uses, amongst other things, trickery. It would be wrong on all accounts to expose Derrens methods. The audience knows he is a showman and not all is what it appears to be (as Derren frequently reminds us) |

This "genuine" guy was throwing a bunch of bullcrap for over 90 min at Derren and Derren's team cut out only the the parts that were hits so that the segment "works" just like the rest of the segments. Didn't you see what Derren said at the end of the segment about other things the guy said? Do some research into cold reading... seriously. Next you'll tell us that Derren's a genuine too because he can shatter lightbulbs and can predict what a curator of a science museum will draw. LMAO. |

I've been performing since I was 17yrs of age. Trust me, I know a little bit about cold reading. That's the whole point. If the RV guy WAS truly genuine he wouldn't object to us seeing all his notation and drawings (that cover just about every conceivable place imaginable) There should be NO clever editing in his favour beacause he claims to be the real deal. Do you understand what I am saying? Please check me out a bit more thoroughly before you tell me to "read up on cold reading", and mock me and call me gullible on a public forum. Trust me there are a few that know me here will be laughing at your foolish statement. |

If the remote viewing guy had a disclaimer saying "i achieve all of my results with a mixture of averages, guess work, random thoughts and just naming everything under the sun..." then it would have been ok....
