I think I've got the method pegged, and if I'm correct, this is just wonderful.

That was so cool.

I've wanted to put on a headless girl illusion since I read Stencell's sideshow book. There's a picture in there of a headless girl on a high chair hooked up to all sorts of gadgetry. This video reminds me of that picture.

In my version I wanted to have the girl knitting, maybe with her severed head giving commentary off to the side.

I don't like that method. Paul Osbourne wrote up plans for that in one of the Genii Magazines about five or six years ago. I think it screams exactly what it is. The traditional method is still the best when presented well. Those folks in England do it and do it well:

I presented the headless woman as part of my Fantasmagoria Cabaret... Keep meaning to exhibit it separately but have not gotten to that point yet... It looks incredible live!
