Just a thought, maybe you've done this already. But if you're trying to memorize a card mnemonic system, why not take an old deck and write the mnemonics on the backs with a Sharpie, creating a set of flash cards?

Both Doug Dyment (QuickStack from Mindsights) and Juan Tamariz (Mnemonica) recommend that approach, so you're in good company!

I've used PowerPoint to help me memorize the meanings of the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark divination system. With the animation feature you can make words appear at the click on the mouse in Presentation mode. Maybe I'll market it as a Flash show someday. It would work with tarot etc. too.

Some software for mnemonics...
http://headinside.blogspot.com/2006/02/n......and.html Some software for flash cards if you're a Mac or iPhone user (though obviously you'd carry a deck rather than an iPhone in this case http://www.maccoremac.com The Tamariz method for learning really worked for me because its the only approach I've found that makes it fun. My main problem was that I would occasionally be laughing too much to breathe.
