"In the garden of thy heart, plant nought but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire, loosen not thy hold¨
"Ok then Jenny, lets talk about love and how it has changed your life over the years. There is an important aspect to love, especially our first love. Our feelings and emotions are characterised by the first touching, heart-felt moment we experience as a child. It must be a moment that can be recalled vividly in the minds eye. It must be a moment that still makes the hair at the back of the neck stand on end. Do you recall such a moment Jenny?" "Yes I do, Kam" "Fantastic, just take a few deep breaths and allow your eyes to close, while your minds eye recalls that fond memory, and allow your spirit to be consumed by the moment. (silence) Now what I would like you to do is take the pad of paper in your hand and while my back is turned, right the initials of the person you shared this moment with and also your age during that time, next to it. (silence) Now tear off the paper from the pad, fold it up and place in your hand, hold it tightly and place your hand on your heart and take a few deep breaths while we connect eye-to-eye" (few moments pass) "Sarah, do you have a moment similar to the one Jenny is reflecting on right now?" "Yes Kam" "Fantastic, I want you to go through the same process as Jenny and then take this notepad and again right down the initials of your loved one, and the age you were during that time" Performer then goes on to reveal initials and ages for both participants in REAL TIME (!!!) using their favourite revelation methods they learnt in acting school WELCOME TO THE SNIPER PAD.... What you get: 1. Presentation box which made me call my wife to say I loved her, only to realise its the Sniper Pad. Thanks Al, now I have to buy her a present 2. Sniper Pad 3. Specially fabricated Artline 770 permanent marker pen 4. Instruction CD-ROM which also contains bonus material (which in my opinion are out of this world, more about that later) 5. Extra gimmick to be used to fabricate another Sniper Pad or other i********* d***** which will be outlined in the bonus material pdf 6. The Australian charm of the Hugh Jackman of mentalism, Mr Al Straker. (I hear he is quite a strapping young man, animals swarm towards him just to be near his handsome face) Ok¡K.. so, the above routine, is the spine behind the effect that I did last night very quickly for a couple of my wife's friends, Jenny and Sarah, using just one Sniper Pad, obviously having 2 or 3 pads would have made life even easier, but such is the user-friendly nature of this ID, that doing 2 live i********** at the same time, REAL TIME, was really not a concern at all (just a few moments of thought and practice with this and you'll be Derren Brown in his first audience effect in his Evening of Wonders). The pad was fully examinable by all participants and there was nothing to find.....just genius! The information is gathered as soon as the pad is closed, it¡¦s that simple!! Then the pad is either used to lean on as you duplicate the info, or replaced into the jacket or trouser back pocket. Done! End completely clean! If any of you are wondering if I am marketing this for Al, then please calm down, I paid for it (full price) just like everyone else will. Being a fellow Aussie, Al kindly sent me one prior to its official release. I have never met Al, nor am I an Outlaw ....I'm a law abiding citizen from Perth. Ok, let be get onto the bonus material. The document contains instruction on how to use the Sniper Pad gimmick to make a phenomenal i********* d***** out of a simple deck of cards, providing info on how to do a PHENOMENAL "think of a card" effect. Who would ever think that a boxed packet of cards with a post-it note stuck to the front of it would ever be an ID??? Done casually this is killer! There is also instruction on construction of an Ultra Pad ID, a post-it note ID, and a business card ID. All just brilliant LIVE REAL-TIME IDs with not an iota of suspicion to be raised by anyone. I plan on constructing the deck of cards ID and doing the Think of a Card effect for the local mentalist here and seeing his reaction next week.....will keep you all posted. All in all I am very happy with this purchase, the creative juices are flowing and I plan on doing some minor miracles for everyone who enjoys the "pain".... Hope this helps, if there are any questions, I am sure many Sniper Pad users will chip in, including Al himself Kam

Heartfelt thanks to Luke and Kam for the time taken to review the Sniper Pad, more than anything else I'm pleased you will be using it!!
Just want to make a couple of quick observations... The irony of the Sniper Pad (and any mentalists tool) is that although we tend to be excited by how clever the prop is, in the audiences eyes the prop should be un-memorable and almost psycologically invisible. The Sniper fits the bill here nicely. Also, although the Sniper is very examinable it is not my intention to get everyone going crazy about asking people to examine a prop. Good mysteries are built differently to that and one of the the best things to disarm an audiece is to down play the use of the pad and also hand it straight over to them. Then keep them busy following your instructions from there. This is exactly what you do in the Sniper routine, the nice part is if you do get a 'pokey' type of helper your Sniper is practically bullet proof. Also because you hand it over freely, it is considered 'examined'. IMPORTANT: The bonus material Kam speaks of is strictly a temporary offer for another 17 days AND only for those who PM me admitting to be an I********n addict (a FULL confession must be made to receive it). On 1st November this will no longer be available and the pre-release 'review copy' special price will also cease. Cheers, Al

Got a question:
If you give the pad to the spectator to draw anything they want and then they pull their sheet of paper. Can they close the pad before they give it back to you without finding or seeing the impression ? Some of the pads that are available including J Riggs, the spectator can close the pad and even ruffle through it and make sure that there is no carbon paper. I know they can inspect the pad but is this before or after they draw? I would appreciate your comments |

Joaquin,
My pad was fully inspected during and after the effect. Nothing was to be seen. Obviously I didn't give th pad out for inspection "before" the effect, because the pad is a "nothing" event. Its all done casually beforehand, no need to draw extra special attention to the pad beforehand. Hope this helps. Kam
