Here is a release for the illusion show we just opened at one of the Six Flags parks. Hope some of you can come by and see it. Make sure you say hello!!
“Haunting Illusions,” a main-stage illusion show, featuring illusionist David Garrity opens at Six Flags New England in Agawam, MA on Saturday, October 3, 2009. This is a special version of David's illusion show that is story-line driven and incorporates almost every illusion David has in his inventory. "This is so much fun, because there is a story line driving the show, each illusion sequence can have up to three major props involved to keep the story moving toward the thrilling ending." "Haunting Illusions" has been a featured part of the Six Flags New England Fright Fest show package since 1997. The show began as a 20-minute stage show and has evolved into a full-scale, 40-minute, illusion performance. "My favorite part of the show is the audience participation sequences where you never know what's going to happen!" Garrity says. "Even with all of the large illusions we still incorporate people from the audience in parts of the show such as the Sprit Cabinet, Floating Table and more." "Haunting Illusions" is included with the park admission and runs multiple shows every weekend throughout October, including Columbus Day Monday. Six Flags New England operating hours and ticket information is available at: http://www.sixflags.com/newengland David Garrity is a member of S.A.M. Assembly 21, Northern CT. I wish I could get there my friend... but other commitments in magic leave no time to do so.
Just know that I am with you in spirit. Seems like eons since we worked together with Brian, Steve and Jason... perhaps that's because it has been... LOL! Keep up the great work and... break a thread!

I've seen Davids shows before and talked with him a few times before and after, he's a very nice person, his assistant is very nice also.
Hey David, sorry for pestering you at your shows here in the Berkshires! *wink* Folks, I've had to go on after Davids show and it ain't easy following that kinda thing, subtrunks, body twister, David turning into Superman, that kinda stuff ain't easy to follow lol! I've got to sorta in a manner of speaking open for him in a way at the same event, made life easier. Hey David, taking the subtrunk to the audience and performing it like that worked really well man! keep up the good work! :) |

I've seen many of David Garrity's shows in different years, and they were all great. I've been one of many audience member's giving him a standing ovation many times.
He is one of my all-time favorite magicians.
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

Yup Bill, his "Big" show is really cool at Sixx Flags.
It was really neat just watching another magician other than myself and then having it snow on me and my kids...it was awesome! I was the first to hop up and and give him a standing ovation just because it was the first real stage show I'd ever seen after being into magic for over twenty years and the guy was real fun to watch, engaging, witty and dare I say good looking. I was overwhelmed...and the whiplash I sustained after riding the Backflash thingy went away after his performance. Weird, actually. |
